New Camera Sensor Eliminates Need for Flash (Graphene sensor)

Companies like Cannon,Nikon and Olympus are always interested in making latest technologies. They would pay any amount to by they latest technology created by Engineers. This motivation lead the scientist of  institute named Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore.

The sensor is named Graphene sensor. This sensor will aloy to see crystal clear photos in dim light.Cameras fitted with a new revolutionary sensor will soon be able to take clear and sharp photos in dim conditions. The new sensor made from graphene, is believed to be the first to be able to detect broad spectrum light, from the visible to mid-infrared, with high photoresponse or sensitivity.
Graphene, which is a one atom-thick layer of the mineral graphite, has already earned a reputation as the building material of the future. Wang said the key to his new sensor is the use of "light-trapping" nanostructures that use graphene as a base. The nanostructures hold onto light-generated electron particles for much longer than conventional sensors.
His breakthrough, made by fabricating a graphene sheet into novel nano structures, was published this month in Nature Communications, a highly-rated research journal.
This is no doubt a fascinating piece of technology and may be very useful in future.N doubt,it would lead to better camera result as we know that:
No Flash means No Problem.
